Aurore is the first submarine out of 15 ordered in the Aurore class.

Launched 26 July 1939, scuttled in Toulon in November 1942.

In this painting Aurore is portrayed in Casablanca.

This image was used to illustrate an article in the French magazine "Marines et Forces Navales" Feb/Mar 2014.
