Note the low position of the bow torpedo spar.  This is the revised view of how it may have looked according to many experts who have studied the salvaged wreck itself.  Others, however, are sticking to the traditional opinion and believe the spar should be situated much higher.   Maybe I'll paint the "other version" next time!

As always scanning does not produce great results - the blues in the original painting are truly stunning.
